The Francis Howell School District is proud to announce that for the second time in the past decade, Francis Howell Middle School (FHMS) has been selected as a National School of Character. During the school year, the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) Board of Education invites an outstanding student to represent their peers at the monthly Board meeting. In March, the Board entertained a special guest, only the second middle school student to serve as the student Board representative. Mr. Justin Caringal, the son of Sennen and Faergals Caringal, is an eighth grader at Barnwell Middle School. Barnwell Spectra Students Participate in Mock Trials

Spectra students at Barnwell Middle School had the chance to experience, first-hand, the roles played in a modern courtroom. On Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, Spectra students, parents and grandparents, faculty, and staff worked together to participate in a trial simulation, “or mock trial,” in the lecture room at Barnwell. FHSD Schools Celebrate National Red Ribbon Week

The Francis Howell School District (FHSD) will be dipped in red the week of Oct. 24-28, as schools across the District and the nation celebrate Red Ribbon Week, an event dedicated to raising awareness for alcohol, tobacco, drugs and violence prevention.
